The Brief
We transformed an almost derelict residence into the most amazing respite home for our framework partner Arc Partnership. The project involved a full strip-out and refurbishment of the home’s interiors in order to create a safe, practical, and homely environment for its young residents.
Key Objectives:
The scope of the project included creating six bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a walk-in wet room and two further toilets. On the ground floor we installed a large modern kitchen facility, a social day room and four staff offices to provide a welcoming environment for both staff and residents.
Our skilled workforce including our sister company Domino Mechanical and Electrical created a space that fostered collaboration and promoted quality and safety.
The Challenges
During the works it was discovered that the flat roofs were unfit for purpose, and through collaboration with the client, we were able to rectify the issues without causing a delay to the project.
Arc Partnership commented: “This is the best quality facility of its type that we manage, and we are overwhelmed with the quality of the finish.”
The Outcome
We delivered the refurbishment of the children’s centre on time and on budget. This project was a great opportunity to provide a safe space that the children and staff could enjoy.
