The Brief
The team at Panenka approached Domino Interiors having seen our work and having been recommended to us. They were excited about their new venture and wanted a design and build company which was capable of designing, and managing the fit-out of their chosen location. Panenka was particularly keen on our ability to work within a tight programme period and to deliver a high-quality finish.
What Was Involved
Panenka is the first bar in Sheffield to have Virtual Reality gaming rooms as part of its sports bar theme, along with virtual darts, shuffleboard, pool table, karaoke rooms, private party rooms, 32 screens, and electronic gaming machines. Panenka also provides an extensive menu cooked in its professional kitchen. Lighting, small power and data, heating, cooling, ventilation and all toilet facilities were installed by Domino M&E.
The Outcome
The completed project exceeded Panenka Bar & Grill’s expectations, delivering a vibrant, high-spec venue that stands out as a unique entertainment destination in Sheffield. Thanks to Domino’s meticulous planning and execution, the project was delivered on time and to a high standard, despite the challenges of a tight schedule and working within an occupied building.
Panenka now boasts a dynamic space that combines cutting-edge technology with a premium hospitality experience. The integration of Virtual Reality gaming, interactive sports features, and a fully equipped kitchen has positioned the venue as a trailblazer in the local bar and leisure scene. The client was particularly impressed with the seamless coordination across trades and the quality of the M&E installations, which have contributed to the venue’s operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
